As an electronic signature solution, ReadySign recognized the enormous need in education to sign documents electronically during the COVID-19 pandemic. This was particularly true in special education, where a high volume of documentation requires signatures, but meeting in person was not always possible. There was also a need for a solution that fit the budget of special education departments. Since ReadySign offers unlimited documents for one fixed low price, we were a perfect fit to fill that need and have been honored to work with so many incredible customers in the education space.
When it came time to choose our charity partner for 2021, we decided to give back to the education field, which has brought us so much success. And we thought, what better way to choose our charity partner than to ask our customer base for their suggestions? That's precisely what we did, and the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) was the number-one recommendation, and we can see why.
The Council for Exceptional Children is an international organization dedicated to improving the success of children with disabilities, gifts, and talents. It's the largest organization dedicated to this mission, and this year celebrated 100 years of leading special education. The CEC sets professional standards, provides professional development, helps professionals obtain resources for effective professional practice, and advocates for appropriate governmental policies. In short, it's seen as the go-to source for information, resources, and professional development for special educators.
When we learned about the CEC's incredible work, we agreed with our customers that they would be an excellent 2021 charity partner and created a charitable initiative to support the CEC. We pledged to donate on behalf of every new customer we worked with in 2021. Responding to ReadySign's charity drive, Chad Rummel, Executive Director of CEC, shared
“We are so grateful for the support of ReadySign, not only through their financial contributions to support our important work, but because they recognize the important role our members make in supporting students with exceptionalities.”
Our 2021 charity initiative has concluded, and we are thrilled to share the results. Speaking via video recording during the annual CEC Convention, Will Reynolds, our ReadySign founder, announced, “I’m very proud to be able to write a check and present it to the CEC for $61,000. I know that money will be put to very good use and we look forward to continuing our relationship with this important organization."
Although our 2021 charity initiative has wrapped up, ReadySign remains committed to supporting the education sector and recently sponsored the CEC's Learning Interactive Virtual Event (L.I.V.E.). During the event, we provided interactive product demos and the chance to meet product experts to discuss how electronic signature has helped special education teams streamline form signing through the pandemic. Additionally, ReadySign will continue to make these virtual sessions available on-demand through the convention app until July 29, 2022.
