Creating Custom Fields
This video and guide help admin of ReadySign create custom fields for their users to use on one-off documents as well as templates.

There are two ways to add Custom Fields and Prefilled Data fields to ReadySign.
Option 1:
This option starts when you're creating a template or are on a document that you are about to send out for signature.
Step 1: Create Custom Fields. You will select "New Custom Field" on the left hand side of the screen.

Option 2:
Step 1: Locate the Templates tab and select the Custom Fields option.

Next, You will select "New Custom Field" in the upper right hand side of the screen.

Step 2: Create Custom Fields. You will then create the custom field by naming it and selecting the type. You have the option to make it the following types: Date, Number, Percent, Text, Year, Yes/No.

When you have made all the customizations you would like you will hit Submit.
*Note- You can now place a custom field on a document more than once. When placing the same custom field on a document multiple times, those fields will automatically fill in with the value the signer entered for the first field upon signing.
